And in cultures where people do not talk about sex, never mind AIDS, motivation to learn more about the disease is fairly low on the priority list.

But we do not forget the day-to-day struggles, and the quiet despair that creeps in when there nobody to help. The official policies of silence that plagued African nations as much as the disease have to stop.
